JPS Intends To "Modernize" Lottery Games in Costa Rica
The Junta de Protección Social (JPS) – the national lottery people – are looking at modernizing the lottery with an electronic game that would be contracted out to a foreigner company.
The deal would also involve working with the Radiografica Costarricense (Racsa) to bring the new electronic game throughout the country.
The move is to modernize lottery gaming in Costa Rica.
Currently, the lottery offers a variety of games, all in paper form, using a manual tumbler to draw the numbers.
No details on the new games were given.
